# Using the application's notebook

How to use the notebook in your project?  
  
You have an internal notepad for each of your projects. These notes remain at the application and project level and are not displayed in your reports. To add notes:  
  
Enter the project,  
Select the Notepad tab,  
Press Edit,  
You then have the layout tools above the keyboard.
